One of the most important lessons in pet grooming is learning by doing, not later on the job. With individualized attention you will learn. All of our instructors are experienced groomers. They will teach you grooming and share their field experience to better prepare you to develop your own client base. We also have guest lecturers from professional groomers in the metropolitan area. But, bottom line, you will learn by doing. Our placement program works!! Graduates of the American Academy Of Pet Grooming are securing gainful employment in the grooming industry. Our school is located within The Little Red Pet Shop, an established store in the Grammercy Park area of Manhattan, across from the new Baruch College campus.
