Jhon Tamayo is a dynamic yoga teacher who has directed the Atmananda Yoga & Holistic Spa in New York City for six years. Jhon T blends traditions such as Hatha, Iyengar and Ashtanga into his classes, which creatively incorporate a vigorous vinyasa series with stretches, balances, backbends and inversions to open and strengthen the body. From his Iyengar background, Jhon T emphasizes alignment, while his knowledge of Ashtanga brings a strong flow to the class. He also teaches a stretching class that focuses on hip-openers, forward bends and twists.
