Be Yoga evolved from Alan Finger's Yoga Zone studios in 2001 with co-owners Beverley Murphy and Bob Murphy. Alan Finger has been at the forefront of expanding yoga in the West and is considered one of the leading yogis of today. Alan founded Yoga Zone in 1990 and under the Yoga Zone name, opened five studios, created over 50 videos and a nationally televised TV show. Alan is a second-generation Yoga Master who has been practicing and teaching for over 40 years. From the age of 15, Alan has dedicated his life to an in-depth study of yogic traditions, and the scientific exploration of the exact blend of postures, breathing, and meditation that accesses human potential to the fullest and benefits all levels of being.
