Nestled on the Upper West Side of Manhattan across the street from the Museum of Natural History and the Hayden Planetarium is Bicycle Renaissance, one of New York City’s oldest and most knowledgeable bike stores. (Map to our store) Family owned and founded in 1972, Bicycle Renaissance has been a fixture on Columbus Avenue for almost 25 years. Recently named one of the best shopping locations in NYC for 2003 by New York Shops, our desire at Bicycle Renaissance has always been to help people experience the fun of cycling. We are a full service bicycle shop offering expert sales, exceptional service, and excellent repairs. We have long been a supporter of the sport of cycling in and around the New York area. We are involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Tour, The AIDS Ride, and Bike New York. Our Bicycle Renaissance road racing team can often be seen training in Central Park.
