Carsten Aveda Institute of New York is an international education center for cosmetology and aesthetics. The New York campus is licensed by the New York state department of education, as well as the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Art and Sciences (NACCAS). The institute teaches exclusively the French Haircutting Technique, a technique used by some of the most successful hairdressers in New York City, like Frédéric Fekkai, Yves Durif, Marc Garrison, and Alan Pinon of Salon AKS.
