This place is located in Penn Plaza so they cater to tourists and people who forgot a basic while in/out of the city. Meaning this store charges an arm & a leg for no reason - $40+ for stockings. Also - they don't let you check the merchandise to see if it is defective prior to purchasing (since they have no refund/return policy for any reason whatsoever), so when you get home, open a pair of $40+ stockings and there is a large hole in the toe, you're out $40. I suggest taking the train downtown to The Sock Man (http://www.thesockman.com/259997.html) where the same exact stuff goes for $25-$35 less than this horrible place.
